No Fresh Fruit for Crumble? Give the Frozen Berry Crumble a go.
This time of the year it can be hard to find in-season fruit for a crumble so we thought you might like to try the "Frozen Berry Crumble". Its seriously easy using the Not So Humble Crumble and takes just a couple of minutes to throw together before you chuck it in the oven.
You can scale it up or down according to the number of people you're feeding and the size of your dish.
(We often bake the minimum serve in an oven proof mug - if we're feeling like crumble and don't wanna share).
Both the Crumble and Berries can be used straight from the freezer.
INGREDIENTS
For One Serving you'll need:
¾ cup frozen berries
1 teaspoon cornflour
1 teaspoon white sugar
A generous ⅓ cup of Not So Humble Crumble (or any of the other Just Dough crumbles)
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180C
For every ¾ cup of frozen berries you put in your oven proof container Add 1 teaspoon of cornflour and 1-2 teaspoons of sugar.
Stir (gently) to disperse the cornflour and sugar.
Sprinkle over the crumble topping (we'd recommend a GENEROUS ⅓ of a cup per person - but feel free to add more if you want!)
Bake for 25-30 minus until golden
ENJOY!
