Got questions about our edible cookie dough, or other (un)baked products? We've got answers.
Shipping & Delivery
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver throughout all of Aotearoa. We ship our cookies in a chilled container to keep your dough cold. For rural deliveries see below;
If you live rurally, then you are best to get your cookies delivered to your local town, as we don't deliver to rural addresses. This is because rural addresses usually take a little longer to get to. Which means if we delivered straight to your door, the delivery might not arrive cold.
How much is Shipping?
Shipping costs depend on your location – if you're in Hamilton and order before 4pm we can deliver your products to you next day for free. Based in the Waikato Region? It's a flat rate of $10. Anywhere else in the North Island then it's $12 for shipping and for you fellas in the South you're looking at a shipping cost of $15.
How Long Does Shipping Take?
We aim to get your dough to you as fast as possible. Usually, we dispatch the order the next shipping day after your order has been placed. (We ship Monday to Thursday, except public holidays) Shipping times can vary, but often the delivery takes a day or two to turn up at your door.
Do you deliver Rurally?
Not really - rural addresses tend to take longer to get where they need to go & most of our shipping is next day delivery. If you live in a rural address - please contact us before making and order and we will see what we can do for you!
What if I have an issue with my shipping?
Get in contact - email@example.com . Please note that whilst the product is in transit - it is often out of our control - as it is the responsibility of the courier. In saying this we will definitely help you as much as we can.
Is it safe to eat raw?
YES – our products are totally safe to eat raw. We use heat-treated flour and pasteurised free-range eggs. This means that our products are safe to eat raw. When you make cookie-dough at home, you would use non-heat-treated products which could contain salmonella and e.coli. These could pose a risk if ingested without cooking. Heat treating kills off the nasty pathogens; – which means that there is no risk of sickness when consuming our products raw.
Do your products contain nuts?
YUP, some of our products contain nuts, we are not a nut-free kitchen. Many flavours do not contain nuts, and we take many precautions in the kitchen to prevent cross-contamination with allergens. But even so, they may contain traces of nuts. Customers, who have nut allergies may be safest to avoid products to avoid all possible risks.
Can I bake it?
Y-E-S, our cookie dough is made to be just like what you would make at home. So, if you prefer to eat it raw – go ahead, but if you love a freshly baked cookie (who doesn't?), then fire up your oven and grab a glass of milk. The cooking instructions can be found on the back of each packet, be sure to have a squiz because cooking may vary slightly for each product.
What's the shelf-life?
Let's be honest, if you're anything like me, the cookie dough will be eaten before you can worry about its shelf life… Joking aside, it depends on how you store it.
- Refrigerated – One (1) week.
- Frozen – Three (3) months.
Do fish like eating your products?
Probably (they are pretty yummy), but you shouldn't feed them to fish - it's obviously not their natural food source. I'd recommend you stick with fish food.
I'm really not sure why this question comes up so often that I have to add it to the FAQs.
